This session our focus is going to be on using the internet to locate resources for use in the classroom. Beginning with a review of the internet we'll move on to a discussion and hands-on practice using a variety of search engines and directories. To brush up on search engines and directories you might want to visit one of the sites listed below.

Assignments:

• Keep a Journal of Daily Technology use. Email to Mrs. Williams once a week. My e-mail address is sthughs-principal@cwjamaica.com
   
• Think of a project that you'd like to use with your class that incorporates the use of technology. Email ideas to Mrs. Williams before Session 2.   Draft a plan of the project and bring to Session 3.
   
• Choose (from the following articles on Project/Problem Based Learning) articles to read that are of interest to you. We'll be using strategies from these articles as we plan your projects.
